Add valuable assistance to the ongoing ministry of The Church at Rock Creek.

Be able to explore opportunities for advancement with The Church at Rock Creek or assist in helping with placement in another local church.

Develop a unique leadership experience in the Immerse School of Discipleship ministry of making disciples.

Learn valuable lessons about ministry from long tenured pastors and special guests.

The Residency program would be a ten-month commitment running from the first of August
through the last day of May.
-
Students selected as residents will work 25-29 hours per week, and receive a monthly stipend of $1800.
-
An additional $5000 stipend may be available to those pursuing a graduate degree. If approved the stipend will be paid directly to the school or university.

In addition to all holidays observed by The Church at Rock Creek, residents will receive one week of paid time off. Any other time off must be worked out with ministry supervisor.

Fully furnished housing (and utilities) is provided.

The Residency will be a ten-month commitment, with the potential for an additional year of service.

THE RESIDENCY PROGRAM DIFFERS FROM AN INTERNSHIP IN THAT IT SEEKS TO PROVIDE A BROAD, WHOLE-CHURCH OVERVIEW OF CHRISTIAN MINISTRY THAT WILL BETTER PREPARE THE RESIDENT TO MOVE INTO A FULL-TIME VOCATIONAL MINISTRY POSITION.
